Pipeline Crossings
Why this matters:
Pipeline crossing and conflicts are becoming more frequent as our population increases and demand for housing and civic facilities grow across the city-region. Costs associated with crossing agreements have reached a threshold where the public is losing from a variety of angles that may not yet be realized. We believe a collaborative approach in pursuit of effective pipeline crossing is in the public interest and that addressing this issue with local and provincial orders of government is required.
Our desired outcome:
- Development within urban areas can proceed without undue hardship or excessive cost burdens placed.
- Work with municipalities, BILD Alberta and the Province to solve this problem collaboratively.
